Got there a little late, and caught up with Josh’s Mum, sandbelt, Jackie_M and ant555.
The only guy I didn’t see was Winderlich. Jobe was running laps. Williams and Daniher were just strolling around with their balls in their hands. Fletch, the Messiah and Dean Dick were not joining in full training either.
Training was pretty sharp and enthusiastic. They were doing ruck drills (Campo was throwing it in and GO’D was tapping it out). Players had to yell out a code to say where they wanted it hit. The code was fairly obscure, but I think we nutted it out. “Right” meant they wanted it hit to the ruckman’s right, “Behind” meant hit it behind. “The Codebreakers” it wasn’t. Most of the training drills seemed to be designed around game actions, so it appears that that is what they meant by getting the game plan into everyone’s heads.
Hislop apparently training for the first time for a while the other day and had to move to modified because he was so stiff. Completed the full session today. Lots of the young guys look as if they’ve added a lot of definition, but we saw a lot of that with Monday’s photos.
