NEWSFLASH!!! – Essendon FC Match Committee caught taking Illicit Drugs!
Once again I have no explanation for what they are doing. I said many weeks ago that Mark Johnson was at the crossroads and they either do 1 of 2 things…
a) Push him forward into a pocket, as he has done well there and his pressure could help
b) Drop him to the Magoo’s
They have done the latter, now this is where I am really pissed off. During the Adelaide game MJ was getting touched up down back, then during the 4th quarter they threw him forward and he provides some aggression, spark and kicks 2 telling goals…. finally thinking you beaut maybe they will leave him there for the Hawks game…. nope… they leave Lloyd/Lucas open and getting towelled up down forward while MJ struggles again down back…. it’s not his fault he is just playing the position he is asked to do!!!!
Mark Johnson does not have the pace to do what he used to do down back, he also is too valuable to let languish in a form slump the reasoning behind pushing him forward… but for some reason Sheedy doesn’t want to experiment “full time” with MJ forward which everytime it happens for a burst… works!!! He is quite happy to leave Bradley on Brown/Hall, but not MJ forward…. I am going to boycott watching this game on the basis the match committee and our head coach have NFI, NFC what they are doing….
Add to this leaving Dyson out of the side and playing an extra tall… WTF is that about…. leaving Johns down back and out matched because we also have Michael, Fletcher and Ryder down there and Lucas/Lloyd getting smashed up forward…. we don’t push Laycock or John’s forward to stretch the Hawks not so tall backline…. we just played into their hands… F%$ F&^%$ F&^%$#
And to those wombats calling themselves “Save Essendon”… FFS get back out your bottle of XO Brandy and Cigar you pompous pretentious petulant pack of pansies….. TAKE A LOOK AT HOW WE SELECT SIDES AND PLAY THEM….. perfect reason why Sheedy is no longer there…. I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF HIM and YOUUUU!!!!!!
So down to the match preview..
We take on the Fremantle Hookers, well they are up and down more often than bed springs at The Daily Planet and seem to perform only when it means something…. Coached by “Interim” Guru Mark “Harvs” Harvey…. You can bet he will be firing up the Hookers to beat his old coach and mentor Kevin “NFI” Sheedy.
Into the side this week is Scott Gumbleton, Ricky “My Name is Teddy” Dyson, Scott “If Only” Camporeale and Kyle “HIP HOP” Reimers, out sign is Mark “Scapegoat” Johnson….
I am not going to go into key matchups, because they won’t happen because Sheedy has no idea what that is, or means.
Only will only harp on the fact that there are some players in this side that do a whole lot a preaching, and not a whole lot of acting on that preach….
Yes Matthew Lloyd, you preach discipline off the field and on field…. ARE YOU A LEADER or a WIENER???
Stop looking for free kicks, stop playing for free kicks, stop wining when you don’t get kicked the ball, stop looking back to the umpire, stop putting in 1 contest at a time, stop being a precious prancy boy and stand up and live up to what you preach….your our captain… STAND UP SON and LEAD BY EXAMPLE. GET THE FOOTY and stop RELYING on others to feed you your easy 3-4 goals per week…. right now you couldn’t influence a Roach Fight with a can of Mortein!!!
Don’t you laugh either Scott Lucas, your in the same boat… just like Lloyd you problem is your 2nd and 3rd efforts….. YOU DON’T HAVE ANY!!!! You stage and sook like your sidekick and frankly I am sick to death of this petulance and preciousness in your attitude…. I don’t give a stuff if your a B & F winner, that was last year… right now your a liability and not showing me or other supporters why people hold you in high regard….
Frankly you both demand the ball so much, yet you deliver so little…. and I sure as hell wouldn’t kick it to you right now because your attitude stinks… I would rather kick it to Michelle Wie
I have no invested interest in this game, as negative as that may sound I am quite frankly sick and tired of these supposed supporters wanting to spill the board…. what for, what will it achieve…. apparently we have dealt with it poorly…. what else was Ray/Peter J supposed to do… wait till the end of the season and have the same people want to spill the board because we didn’t tell them earlier….
And I am sick of the protection some of our senior players seem to be afforded these days at the expense of the younger players…. I don’t care who you are if your attitude and body language on field is rubbish then you need to be pulled into line….. at least Matthew Richardson has an excuse…. his players kick the ball at his feet or over his head…. you Lloyd and Lucas fall over and play for free kicks and lead to weird spots on the ground, also Richo-Man unlike you both has 2nd, 3rd and 4th efforts……
