Daniher & Myers To Debut

Essendon’s future will be on show against Port Adelaide at the Phone Dome this Sunday evening with the AFL senior debuts of 2007 Top Draft selection David Myers and 2007 Father/Son selection Darcy Daniher.

Myers, the Number 6 overall selection in the 2007 National Draft has recovered from pre-season hamstring injuries while Daniher has impressed for Bendigo in the VFL, including 18 touches and four goals last weekend.

“He has worked hard. That it has come this early in his career, it’s come, so you deal with it,” Daniher’s father fromer Bomber defender Anthony said. “We are thrilled for him. We are very proud of him.”
