Bendigo Break The Drought


Bendigo had its second win of the 2008 VFL Season season, defeating Frankston by three points at Queen Elizabeth Oval on Saturday night in VFL Round 6.

Essendon senior listed players Jason Laycock, Leroy Jetta and Kyle Reimers were named in the best and will likely come into consideration for senior selection against Sydney next weekend.

The win sees Bendigo sit 12th on the VFL ladder with a 2-4 record and a home game against 2nd placed Williamstown next on the agenda in VFL Round 7 next Sunday afternoon.
