Centrebet has Collingwood as warm favourites for tomorrow night.

Still no respect. When will they learn.

1. COLLINGWOOD 1.51 -17.0 : 2.10 -12.5 : 1.91
2. ESSENDON 2.58 +8.0 : 2.10 +12.5 : 1.91

Might be a good time to get your money on the Bombers.

Yeah, but $1.51 seems a tad short.

Perhaps. it will be tough knocking off the Pies again. It really depends if the Good, hungry, determined Bombers show up or not.

So that's why so many of them are at Cetrelink every week.

I think the Friday night games are normally pretty unreliable for odds, people just back the favourite in multis/pick 6s, blowing out the odds. Not a lot separates Coll/Ess, nor Carlton/Ess last week...

West Coast at the G? They haven't won a game in Melbourne for 2 years! Won't start now, especially after Styne's cancer announcement. They've already come out and said they'd win for him!

All good points YT. I might have to have another look at my tips this week. I am one ahead in my tipping comp, so can't aford to drop one now.

Bookies view:

They've won five in a row and have named their strongest team for the year. They are in the top 4 and there'll be a lot of money taken for the pies. Davis, Pendlebury and Medhurst (last week) are big ins.

We've won two in a row but there's been a bit of mischief at Windy Hill this week. Can't measure the weighted impact of Prismall and Reimers at this stage and Watson (according to the stats by far our most important player) and McVeigh are both out.

$1.50 would be all I'd be risking on the Pies.

I think the odds are about right.
