Just thinking regardless of form, how slow scotty lucas might look out there if its wet tonight and how he usually gets an absolute bath from Harry O anyway.
I think the only way we can beat the pies is through pace and the one more midfield/defender option i think would be more benificial in the wet. Also with collingwoods amount of dangerous small forwards i think either Houli or Myers might be worth bringing in as another option to throw back there.
After all Mcphee will play KP and Hooker could play CHF, so we'd still have plenty of height, we need to exploit them with excessive pace. Thoughts?

If it's raining maybe the player should wear those umbrealla hats to keep the rain from their faces aswell maybe.

no, there wont be any late changes unless injuries. Lucas can still contribute and kick goals in the wet, he is fairly mobile around the ground for a kpp (mobile as in covers alot of ground not agility)

It might just work.

This might have helped us even more last time.

Harry O played on Davey last time and probably will again.

Don't be surprised if Hurley replaces McPhee.

Yeah good idea. Houli is as soft as fk. No chance of that happening.

If O brien was to line up on Lucas, surely that would be a win for us anyway, yes he'd prolly beat Lucas, but as you mentino in the conditions he might not be that influential to our side anyway.
That way he doesn't go to someone else and nullify them as much as he would.
On a wet night, I'd rather O brien take Lucas than say a Davey or someone else.

Hurley in for Lucas if it's wet and raining. He has the agility and pace for wet football, as well as silky skills, and can play forward or back if needed.

Yeah I don't mean he's quick, because he's obviously not, but for wet football, being a tall, he has good pace on him.... if you get what I mean?

Confused? So am I.

Is it actually raining in Melbourne at the moment? If not, how likely is it?

I'm in Brisbane...hence the question
